2023 Conversion

AmFirst is preparing a system upgrade this fall

System Upgrades are coming soon that may impact you. AmFirst will be performing a system upgrade beginning at the close of business on Friday, September 29, 2023, and is estimated to be completed on Monday, October 2, 2023. Online banking will not be available during this time.

PLAN AHEAD

  • See the calendar below for which services will be unavailable at various times during the System Upgrade.
  • Online banking and FlashTalk will be unavailable from Friday evening, September 29 until Monday, October 2, 2023.
  • Online Bill Pay or other online transfer or payment transactions will not be available during the conversion weekend. You may wish to schedule your same-day transaction(s) prior to September 28, 2023. Any scheduled transfers for September 29 – October 1, 2023, will be processed on October 2, 2023.
  • After our System Upgrade, every member will have one login for all of their accounts.
  • Establish your preferred login for online banking – If currently, you only have one login no action is required. If you have multiple accounts with separate logins, the login assigned to you will be the most recently logged-in account as of September 28, 2023.

ACCESS

  • Online banking login information will remain the same if you only have one login. If you have multiple logins, you will receive separate communication from AmFirst in September. After the upgrade, any account (joint owner, custodian, trust, etc.) that is associated with your social security number, will appear in one place in online banking. When logging in on October 2, 2023, you will be required to confirm your identity by using multifactor authentication. (code sent via text or email).
  • Joint account owners will now be able to create their own online login ID and password versus needing to share credentials. Click HERE for more details.
  • After the upgrade, members will be able to see all of the accounts for which they are the primary owner or joint owner under a single login ID. If there are accounts you do not want to display in online banking you can hide them.

NUMBERS, ACCOUNTS, CHECKS & CARDS

  • Continue to use your same checks, debit, and credit cards.
  • After the upgrade is complete, these items will NOT change: Member number, account number, routing and checking account numbers, direct deposit, and scheduled transfers.
  • Card and ATM PINs will not change

PAYMENTS & WITHDRAWALS

  • Direct deposits and withdrawals set up prior to the System Upgrade will continue unchanged, this includes payroll and benefit deposits.
  • Loan payments typically made at a branch with a due date during the System Upgrade should be made prior to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 29, 2023, or on Monday, October 2, 2023.
  • Scheduled transfers dated September 29, 30, or October 1, 2023, will be processed on October 2, 2023, following the weekend upgrade. If these need to be sent before September 29, 2023, you will need to change the transfer date in digital banking prior to September 28, 2023, at 4 p.m.
  • Cash App transactions (debits and credits) that are scheduled after Thursday, Sept. 28 will not be posted to members’ accounts until Monday, October 2, 2023.

FlashTalk Users

FlashTalk will be unavailable during the upgrade, which will begin at the close of business on Friday, September 29, 2023.

You will be able to resume using this service, on Monday, October 2, 2023.

Once the upgrade is complete, you will be prompted to enter the last four digits of your social security number. You will also be required to reset your FlashTalk pin to access your account information.

You may enter the same pin that you previously used but the system will require that you re-enter your pin.

Online Users

Online banking including Bill Pay, payment transactions, and other online transfers will not be available during the conversion weekend.

You may wish to schedule your same-day transaction(s) prior to September 28, 2023. Any scheduled transfers for September 29 – October 1, 2023 will be processed on October 2, 2023.

You will also want to establish your preferred login for online banking.

If you have multiple accounts, your default account will be the most recently logged-in account as of September 28, 2023.

If you use Quicken, QuickBooks or Mint, you will want to perform a backup and transaction download prior to 6 p.m. Friday, September 29. Intuit aggregation services may be interrupted for up to 3-5 business days. You will need to disconnect and reconnect your services on or after Monday, October 2.
