Food drive provides more than 100,000 meals to neighbors in need

AmFirst was proud to present a check for $25,000 to the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama as part of our Feeding Families Across Alabama Food Drive on Monday, July 25.

From June 1 through July 15, we were able to collect 22,314 pounds of food, or 18,595 meals. The check for $25,000 we presented to the food bank will also provide another 100,000 meals, which means our grand total will provide 118,595 meals for those in need throughout our communities.

Additionally, our Mobile Branch was able to donate a generous amount of food and a check for $2,500 to Love All Pantry at Central.
