Starting on January 1, 2023, there will be an $8.00 transaction fee for loan payments when members pay with a debit card.

If you are making a loan payment using your checking account and routing number (ACH) there will continue to be no transaction fee. Also, there will continue to be no transaction fee if you are using the transfer function in Online Banking to make a payment.

As an added convenience to our members, America’s First Federal Credit Union now offers CARFAX Vehicle History Reports at a Member’s discount.

CARFAX Vehicle History Reports™ are available on all used cars and light trucks model year 1981 or later. Using the unique 17-character vehicle identification number (VIN), a CARFAX Report is instantly generated from our database of over eight billion records.

Every CARFAX Report contains information that can impact a consumer’s decision about a used vehicle. Some types of information that a CARFAX Report may include are:

Title information, including salvaged or junked titles
Flood damage history
Total loss accident history
Odometer readings
Lemon history
Number of owners
Accident indicators, such as airbag deployments
State emissions inspection results
Service records
Vehicle use (taxi, rental, lease, etc.)

We want to make our members aware about an upcoming conversion of our loan payments portal at AmFirst. This conversion will enhance the efficiency and security of our payment services, allowing you to see your loan payments in real time in online banking.

On October 2, we will be migrating to an improved payments platform. While we are working diligently to ensure a seamless transition, we want to bring your attention to an important aspect that may require your action.

After the conversion, it will be necessary for you to set up any recurring payments again within the new payments portal. This step is essential to ensure the continuity of your automatic payments.

To minimize any inconvenience, we recommend that you take the following actions:

Mark your calendar: Please make a note of the conversion date, October 2, to remind yourself to set up your recurring payments after the migration.
Review your current payments: Take this opportunity to review your existing recurring payments and make note of the ones you will need to set up after the conversion.
Update your payment information: On or after October 2, access our new payments portal through our website. Register as a user and update your payment information.
Contact our support team: If you encounter any issues during the setup process or have any questions related to the conversion, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our dedicated member support team. We are here to assist you and ensure a smooth transition.

The old system will be turned off at 10p.m. on September 27. The new system will be available on October 2.

On 9/28 and 9/29, you can still use online banking to transfer payments or visit any branch.

We understand that updating recurring payments may require some effort on your part, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. However, this conversion will ultimately enhance the security and reliability of our payment services, delivering a better banking experience for you.

Cash Back Program Rules

Every dollar in purchases “You” (see paragraph 7) make with your card to your Visa account covered by this AmFirst Cash Back Program (“Program”) and that appears on your statement during the Program period, earns Cash Back credit as provided for in these Rules under AmFirst’s most current Cash Back schedule. Cash Back is earned with purchases made by You beginning on the first day in which your Program begins and is posted to your account monthly. Cash Back credits will be deducted from your current total of credits earned for corresponding retail purchase returns posted to your card account. Monthly credits will not post to a zero balance account.
Your card account must be open and in good standing (i.e. not cancelled, terminated, delinquent or otherwise not available to use for charges) at the time Cash Back credits are posted to your account. Otherwise, your Cash Back credit will be forfeited. Cash Back credits are not exchangeable or transferable.
This Program may be modified, suspended or cancelled at any time without restriction or penalty. Cash Back credit may be forfeited due to violations of these Rules. This Program is void where prohibited or restricted by law. You are responsible for any federal, state or local income or other taxes.
Despite our best efforts to ensure accuracy, printing errors involving the Program occasionally occur. We reserve the right to correct such errors at any time even if it affects Cash Back credits already posted to your account.
You agree to hold AmFirst Federal Credit Union, CU Cooperative Systems, Inc. dba Co-op Solutions and any vendors associated with the Program, harmless if the Program is interrupted or terminated prior to any Cash Back credits being awarded to you.
This Program is available to Visa account holders of AmFirst Federal Credit Union. Your use of your card following receipt of these Rules will indicate your agreement to these Rules.
