Refer-A-Friend

* Individuals can apply for membership and open a personal (not business) checking account in-person at any America’s First Federal Credit Union (“AmFirst”) location or online at AmFirst’s website. The referred friend must enter the referring member’s unique referral code at the time of application. AmFirst is not required to pay the promotional incentive for accounts opened without the appropriate promo referral code. The referring member must be the primary member on a Regular Share (not a Conservator, Estate, Representative Payee or Trust) account, 18 years of age or older, and in good standing. Referred friends must not have an existing checking account with AmFirst, must be 18 years or older, and must be eligible to open and maintain membership. Not all applicants will qualify. Referred friends who were an AmFirst member during the past six months and are now rejoining AmFirst do not qualify for the Refer-a-Friend promotion. The referring member’s accounts or the referred friend’s accounts must remain open in good standing for at least 90 days. Referring members may receive a maximum of five bonuses throughout the entirety of the Refer-a-Friend promotion. New members and the referring members will receive the $90 bonus deposit to the Regular Share (savings) account within 120 days of opening qualifying accounts, provided that they meet the transaction requirements within 30 days and keep accounts open and in good standing for at least 90 days. AmFirst will not deposit bonus funds to closed accounts or accounts not in good standing. A $90 bonus deposit will be reported at year-end as interest income to the IRS for both the new member and the referring member. AmFirst cannot release information about the status of any account to anyone other than the account’s owner or the owner’s representative. Therefore, we cannot disclose to the referring friend if the referred friend used the referral code or whether the referred friend opened an account. However, please note that crediting the $90 to the referring member’s account will imply that the referred friend opened an account. Other terms, limitations and conditions may apply. The checking account’s Annual Percentage Yield (APY) is 0.00%. As of January 2, 2026, APY for share accounts are 0.25% for account balances between $100-$9,999, 0.30% for account balances between $10,000-$39,999, 0.40% for account balances between $40,000-$74,999, and 0.50% for account balances over $75,000. Fees could reduce earnings on the account. Rates are variable and may change after the account is opened. AmFirst reserves the right to terminate this offer at any time. This promotion cannot be combined with any other promotions.
