Birmingham, Ala—March 9, 2026— AmFirst is proud to partner with Better Basics and WVTM 13 for their annual children’s book donation drive. Now through March 29, 2026, community members are invited to donate new, unused children’s books at any AmFirst location.
Access to books in early childhood is a powerful factor in a child’s development and future success. However, in lower-income neighborhoods, there is often just one age-appropriate book for every 300 children. Through its book distribution programs, Better Basics is working to ensure every child has a book to call their own.
To make contributing simple, give through AmFirst’s donation page, and your donation will be used to purchase books for the drive. Or join their mission by donating a book at your nearest AmFirst branch.
