AmFirst is proud to announce its 2026 Feeding Families Across Alabama Food Drive from Wednesday, July 1, through Friday, July 31, in collaboration with ABC 33/40. All AmFirst branches will accept nonperishable food items and monetary donations benefiting the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama.
More than 232,000 children, seniors, veterans, and neighbors are food insecure in central Alabama. Each year, the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama feeds more than 80,000 children, seniors, veterans, and neighbors at risk of hunger. From the generosity of members and employees, AmFirst donated 55,000 meals to those in need in 2025.
How you can help.
Community members are encouraged to drop off canned goods, cereals, pasta, beans, rice, and peanut butter. Please avoid glass containers. Monetary donations are also welcome, and checks should be made payable to the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama.
