Fraud Alert Update 6/10/19

Our mitigation team continues to work with the authorities to determine the source of fraudulent debit card transactions which occurred on Friday, June 7 or early on Saturday, June 8. We have identified and deactivated the debit cards of affected members and are prepared to issue replacement cards this morning at no charge. Based on our review, this incident has only impacted a small percentage of accounts and there is no indication that any AmFirst systems have been compromised. At this time, there is no need to replace your card if it has not been deactivated and there are no unauthorized transactions on your account. As an extra safety precaution, we are asking all members to double check their transaction history from Friday and Saturday. You can view all your recent transactions in online or mobile banking. If you see a transaction that you did not authorize, or have a question about a transaction, please call our member service center at 205-320-4000 or toll-free 1-800-633-8431.

While you are checking your transaction history, please also verify that we have your correct mobile number and email. As standard procedure, we will send you AmFirst Alert messages to verify any suspicious activity on your account. Always pay careful attention if you receive an AmFirst Alert text or email.
If we suspect unusual activity on your debit card, we will send you:
• A text message from short code 47334 detailing the purchase
• An email from detailing the purchase
