Community First Campaign Raises more than $75,000 for Local Charities

America’s First Federal Credit Union is proud to present the Autism Society of Alabama, Red Mountain Park, and Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind (AIDB) each with checks for $25,000. The employee-driven Community First campaign raised more than $75,000 in 2016.

This year’s campaign kicked off with the 2nd annual Sporting Clays Charity Tournament at Selwood Farm on May 20, 2016, and concluded on September 19, 2016, with the annual Charity Open Golf Tournament at Oxmoor Valley. From May until September, America’s First employees held bake sales, sold bed sheets and candles, and even held an internal online auction of donated items, to benefit the 2016 Community First campaign.

We would like to thank everyone who made monetary donations to the campaign in a branch location, participated in the employee-led fundraisers, and donated items for the online auction and various door prizes for events. Here’s to the most successful Community First campaign yet!
