Revive Alabama Business Grant Program
The Revive Alabama program, recently announced by Governor Kay Ivey, is a new opportunity for small businesses in Alabama impacted by COVID-19 closures and business interruptions to receive reimbursement for qualifying expenses.
The Revive Alabama program is not a product or service of America’s First Federal Credit Union. Applications must be directly to the Alabama Department of Revenue through their website.
Your business may qualify to receive up to $15,000 in reimbursements if you have not already received assistance for the same claim at the federal level. Reimbursements will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis until the funds are exhausted.
Full details are available on the Revive Alabama homepage . The application process opens at noon on Thursday, July 16. The applications will close at midnight on July 25.

Current Hours & Operations
AmFirst branch lobbies will reopen and resume normal business hours on Monday, June 8.

As we reopen, we will continue to follow the guidelines and recommendations of local authorities and public health officials. Branch lobbies will operate with limited capacity. Markers have been placed on branch floors to ensure proper social distance between individuals.
Face-masks are required for lobby access to branches located in areas with local government face-mask orders in place. Members are encouraged to wear a face mask at all other AmFirst branch locations.
AmFirst staff will wear face-masks.
To maintain account security, we may ask you to remove your mask briefly to confirm your identity.
If you have a fever or flu-like symptoms, please use the drive-thru.
Many of our branches also feature video teller ITMs in the drive-thru that allow you to conduct most teller transactions from the comfort of your car. For ITM locations, please click HERE. Video Teller ITM hours are 7am – 6pm Mon – Fri.

We continue enhanced cleaning and sanitizing of our facilities and equipment including ATMs and drive-thrus. In addition, we are closely monitoring the well-being of all our staff members and have procedures in place to allow anyone who may be ill, or has been exposed to illness, to remain at home.
Paycheck Protection Program
The CARES (the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security) Act recently passed into law includes a provision known as the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) designed to provide financial relief to help small businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The program, managed by the Small Business Administration (SBA), provides 100% federally guaranteed loans to small businesses with 500 or fewer employees to assist with payroll, healthcare costs, rent, utilities and mortgage interest.
We stand ready to work with you to prepare and submit your application for PPP funds.
You must be a member of the credit union with an established business account to apply for a PPP loan through AmFirst. New members may apply to open a business account and then for a PPP loan once the new member’s business account has been established .
Please call your local branch to open a new business account.
The process can be completed remotely for existing AmFirst members. New members may sign the required documents by using the drive-thru or making a branch appointment.
